The work that goes into providing access to digital materials in DigiNole is complex. It requires many hands to complete projects that contribute objects to this digital collection.
This digital collection includes only a portion of the physical collection for this periodical. Digitization of these materials is ongoing so project documentation is available upon request until the entire project is completed. Below are the faculty, staff and students who worked to bring these materials from this collection to our patrons.
Project Manager: Krystal Thomas
Digitization and Quality Control: Stuart Rochford, Stephanie Shrewsbury, and Anna Zak
Metadata Creation: Cheri Marks, Krystal Thomas, and Keila Sayas-Ruiz
These credits may be updated as more objects are added to the collection and more of our faculty, staff and students contribute their effort to providing access to these materials.
This collection contains 28 diaries written by plantation owner and farmer, Ulysses B. Roach, between 1890 and 1927. The diaries contain information about Roach’s day to day life, mostly about planting and the weather.
