This collection highlights the interdisciplinary diabetes research occurring at FSU. Across campus, researchers are working to improve the lives of people living with type 1 and type 2 diabetes through the use of new technology, support systems, pharmacology, nutrition, and exercise. New initiatives, such as the FSU College of Medicine’s diabetes research journal, PLAID: People Living with And Inspired by Diabetes, are attempting to make this research translatable to those living with and directly impacted by diabetes.
