Kelsa Bartley
Say it in 6: "Becoming more than I could imagine!" Kelsa is pursuing an MS in Health Information Technology at Florida State, a field she entered after her mother was diagnosed with breast cancer during her junior year in college. Kelsa saw how challenging it was to navigate the healthcare system, even for her mother, who was a nurse, and wanted to help effect change. She originally hails from the twin island Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, and moved to Miami to pursue a Fine Arts degree before coming to Florida State University. Kelsa was awarded the American Library Association Spectrum Scholarship to pursue her Master's Degree. Her ideal career as a librarian would involve a blend of her interests in health care, art and design, teaching, and community service.
