Cortnie Baity
Say it in 6: "Influence a positive narrative shift." Cortnie Baity is pursuing a doctoral degree (PhD) in human development and family science at Florida State University. She was initially encouraged to pursue a graduate degree because she felt called to serve as a minority representative of scholarship and achievement, especially serving as a role model for her family. Her research centers on personal and family finances and how the two impact mental and physical health and interpersonal relationships. She aspires to become a higher education professor, a licensed marriage and family therapist with a specialization in personal finance healing, and an applied social scientist.
