Caitlyn Blake-Hedges
Say It In 6: "The pursuit of knowledge for society." Caitlyn has always loved science and discovering new things. I knew that the time and effort spent on research in graduate school was something I would enjoy, and that I could focus on a specific topic of interest, as opposed to the broad set of knowledge you learn during undergraduate studies. Caitlyn is a member of the Congress of Graduate Students, received the Bryan Robinson Endowment Grant to fund her research, and recently placed third in her department’s 3 Minute Thesis (3MT) competition. She plans to pursue a career in science policy.
