Letter from Elizabeth "Lisl" Urbantschitsch to Giulia Kortischoner, 1946-06-13-1946-06-25
Elizabeth "Lisl" Urbantschitsch writes to Giulia Kortischoner overjoyed and excited to have received a letter from her. Lisl tells Giulia her plan to move to France for a year in order to save money and then fly over to the United States on a visa that she is hoping her father, Rudolf von Urban, can secure for her. Lisl then hopes to secure a job and pay her father back the money he would need to loan her for a plane ticket to the United States. Lisl has not told anyone, but Giulia about her plan out of superstitious fear that if she talks about her plans they will not happen. Lisl also talks about all the things that Giulia could send in a parcel that would be greatly appreciated as there are shortages on everything in Austria at the moment. Lisl hopes Giulia will write again soon and asks her to get into contact with her father if she has not already done so in order to help with the immigration process.
