Letter from Mia Hasterlik to Giulia Kortischoner and Susi Weiss, 1945-11-09
Mia Hasterlik writes to Giulia Kortischoner and Susi Weiss, saying that she had her final citizenship hearing and that she passed it; it will probably be a few months before she gets the official papers. She had to get two witnesses from Dayton to prove that she was living there for seven months because of the fact that, due to an argument, Gusti Hasterlik refused to testify for her in court. She also had complications because she had a Hungarian passport, and Hungary was considered to be an "enemy state." She also talks about a conflict that she had with someone at work.
