Two letters mounted on paper, both dated to Thursday, presumably the Thursday December 10th, 1835, as transcribed on Thomas Campbell's letter. Mr. Campbell writes to Louisa Moore and regretfully declines her invitation to join her family at the zoo, and jokes that he is not upset to miss seeing the new monkey. Mrs. Matilda Campbell writes to Mrs. James Carrick Moore confirming their visiting tomorrow. Attached to the letters is a printed clipping showing a statue of Thomas Campbell erected at Glasgow.
