Say it in 6: "Contributing to advancing society fuels me." Kalisa Villafana is pursuing a doctoral degree (PhD) in Physics at Florida State University. Kalisa chose FSU because it has a ranked physics program and a strong nuclear physics group with an in house laboratory. Her goal is to pursue a career in medical physics, utilizing her training in nuclear physics, radiation and accelerator science to help in the fight against cancer.
