Say it in 6: "Learning and growth should never stop." Corynn Walker is pursuing a doctoral degree in nursing at Florida State University. She is in FSU's Doctor of Nursing Program (DNP), a widely respected program for nurse practitioners. Having dealt with the same personal situations, her research focuses on nurses who have experienced sexual harassment at the bedside and developing tools to adequately prepare nurses to handle the situation. She created training videos for incoming nurses and raised awareness for the situations that could arise while working on the job. Her goal is to begin a career in family practice within the hospital/acute care setting and to continue research regarding sexual harassment in bedside nursing.
