Danielle Sebranek
Say It In 6: "Advancing my education helps others succeed." Dr. Sebranek graduate with a PhD in Higher Education Spring 2018. Obtaining a graduate degree was important to her because she wanted to help students succeed and find their passion. Her mentors during undergraduate studies were fundamental in helping her grow and discover herself and she wants to give back and inspire the next generation of leaders. As an undergraduate, she studied French and history. Studying abroad was key to her personal development and professional growth. Dr. Sebranek believes that being vulnerable and making another country a temporary home opens the heart to a worldly perspective and an appreciation for different cultures, which are vital in the twenty first century. She wants to encourage students to register for a program abroad by enlightening them on this new perspective as well as the immersive learning and practical skills they will gain.
