Letter from Ällägg Bechtold to Giulia Kortischoner, 1942-01-11
Ällägg Bechtold, a school friend of Giulia Kortischoner's from Switzerland, writes to Giulia thanking her for the gifts she sent him, particularly toilet paper (he states that by the time he had received her gift, he was so desperate, that he had to use a matchbook). He gives an update about happenings at school and adds an addendum stating that schools had been let out early because of a shortage of coal.
