Abstract/Description: This paper illustrates that D-Lysine tetra-fluoropyridine acetylene conjugate has the ability to successfully cleave double stranded DNA upon photochemical activation. It is reactive toward DNA at the acidic conditions similar to the environment of hypoxic cancer tissues.
