Abstract/Description: Many mobile applications, also known as apps, are excellent instruments for gathering qualitative and quantitative data. This article is a starting point for those interested in gathering assessment data using mobile tools and provides assessment app type overviews and examples. With relatively little effort, libraries can take advantage of mobile apps and gather compelling assessment data more easily than ever before.
