Abstract/Description: This thesis is a novel. It is the story of Frank, a pickpocket who moonlights as a children's magician. He falls in love with Nasya who is a volunteer at a hospice for children with horrible and strange diseases. The book follows their relationships as well as the people around them and the city in which they live.
